SEDNEM at Australian Fashion Week 2025: A Celebration of Identity
Share
At SEDNEM, fashion is more than just clothing, it's a statement of identity, freedom, and sophistication. Our participation in the 2025 Australian Fashion Week (AFW) was a testament to our commitment to diversity, authenticity, and ethical craftsmanship. Held from May 12–16 at Carriageworks, Sydney, AFW 2025 showcased a vibrant tapestry of inclusivity and innovation, aligning seamlessly with our brand's mission to create fashion that transcends boundaries and embraces individuality.
Our debut at AFW featured the Tokyo Burgundy Pleated Shorts, a standout piece that embodies our ethos. Model Luiza Bittencourt graced the streets in these shorts, paired with three distinct ties, a solid red, a striped, and another green solid, each adding a layer of contrast to her tailored blazer. Makeup artist, Marconi Milanez, complemented the ensemble with the Tokyo Black Pleated Shorts, while stylist Allyson Fonseca made a bold statement at the Vogue Vanguard closing party by layering the shorts over denim, creating a striking juxtaposition that captured the essence of streetwear chic.
Crafted from 100% wool, the Tokyo Pleated Shorts offer unparalleled texture and presence. The fine wool fabric drapes elegantly, providing both comfort and structure. As showcased in the accompanying photos, available on our website, the shorts' versatility is evident in various styling interpretations.
